🏰 Highlights – The three castels

• Castelgrande: This is the easiest castle to reach. You can take a lift from Piazza del Sole. Make sure to walk along the huge city walls (The Murata) and climb the White and Black towers for a great view.
• Montebello: If you like history, you will love the old drawbridges and deep moats here. It is also the best place to take a photo of Castelgrande from above.
• Sasso Corbaro: This is the highest castle. From here, you can see all the way to Lake Maggiore. Inside, you can visit the Emma Poglia room, which is a beautiful wooden room from the 17th century.

🚆 Departure: 20:17 from Bellinzona.

🛌 Stay: I recommend the Youth Hostel Bellinzona (located right at the castle!).
